NMI Mission Moments:
NMI Global has asked that we remember our “Nazarene Family” in Haiti, as well as the people of Haiti. The nation is in turmoil and needs God’s touch and help.
The Missions Emphasis for May is…”Crisis Care Kits”. These kits are put together by Nazarene churches in the USA and Canada and shipped to regional warehouses to be distributed worldwide for disaster response, as well as other compassionate ministry projects. Please help us reach a goal of 36+ Crisis Care Kits before July 7. The list is in the foyer for what needs to be put together along with Ziplock bags. NMI is the organization representing missions for the Global Church of the Nazarene on the regional, district, and local levels. It is the promotional, educational, program, and fund-raising arm of Global missions, and the organization that “provides the structure and spiritual dynamic for mobilizing the church in mission.”
The principal purpose of NMI is to mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating.
NMI Objectives:
1. To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization;
2. To inform people of the world’s needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs;
3. To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church;
4. To raise funds for mission outreach.
Jesus Film Ministry: One mission’s ministry that our church enthusiastically supports in earnest is JESUS Film Harvest Partners (JFHP). This is a ministry that partners with other Kingdom ministries to make Christ-like disciples in the nations. The Global Church of the Nazarene has partnered with Campus Crusade for Christ to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ into every nation via this film medium. Please read more by clicking here…
